X-rays are often taken to give the doctor an inside look at what is going on with the bone structure of the entire spine and surrounding skeletal structure. Utilizing x-rays, your doctor can determine any abnormal spinal curves, vertebral misalignments, or any other changes occurring in your spine.
Unlike some chiropractic offices, we do not x-ray every patient who enters our office. Most of our patients never require x-rays or any other form of diagnostic imaging to receive care in our office. However, should our doctor suspect that a serious underlying condition may be the cause of your pain, x-rays or other special imaging (i.e. MRI, CT scans, etc) will be required.
